What is Eva Hesse most known for Very interesting comments about Eva Hesse documentary. However, let me mention that the image that you showing on min 2:23 is from Lee Bontecou and not Eva Hesse. They are both two woman artists that I personally admire a lot :). eva hesse catalogue raisonne
I read a book about her after I read a NZ artist (male...conceptual but he liked minimalism also) referred to her. I forget his name just now. I think he died relatively young also. In some way could she be compared to Rebecca Horne? Re Eva I felt it is like, indeed, someone said, play. Playing with shapes, forms, creating almost another world as if creating near living things...Not sure. She needed to live longer..
eva hesse sculpture book Aw <3 sad to see Hesse's art has degraded so much over time. I love her work! She was a great artist of her times! Now I know I need to get in fast and see it when ever and where ever it gets displayed!. hermann hesse siddhartha book So glad I discovered this video. Great for my art class! Thank you very much.
eva hesse documentary nyc Bad audio. Why play music when people are talking? I want to hear the dialog. The audio is bad initially and made worse by the added music, Unpleasant to listen and watch.. eva hesse contingent

Great commentary on Eva Hesse. eva hesse dvd whats permanent is the loss of art and brain cells in these people and the artist lack of talent. The story of how they didn't try to help victims I love it
i cant believe people think this crap is art
wow. this looks amazing. and such a unique and cool idea on how to show it. seriously can't wait to watch it
Impermanence should not be a consideration in making art.
I like her art. It is strange for sure. Interesting. Nice piece! I like what you are saying..There is someone who comes to mind when I look at the work of Hesse, and it's Louise Bourgeois. Although Bourgeois' work is quite multiform, also because she lived quite a long working life, there are some works of her that resonate a sort of energy that Hesse created with her work. Minimalistic works, but full of emotion. And that's quite a rare and special thing. Thanks for your video!.

...the artist being there, being felt through their work. Ultimately your work has to stand by itself and for itself. The artist can be absent but should be called back, should be inducted back into the work by the demand of the work to make the viewer question the intention and the spirit of the artist. WELL SAID. Excellent views, thank you..
